New york city hotels expensive because little supply and high demand. More than 60% hotel occupancy means you will get a good deal. You need enough capacity for the target market. Chain hotels provide the same feeling and consistency. People will go to same hotel brand in different location for consistency reasons. Largest railway network in the world under single management.
