Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders: dsmv, currently on the fifth edition. Really specific tests that go with specific disorders. Clinical disorders: schizophrenia, mood, anxiety, sexual, gender, sleep, eating disorders. Personality disorders: these are things that potential can last forever, antisocial, paranoid, borderline. That may be relevant to mental disorders: cancer, epilepsy, obesity, alzheimer"s, parkinson"s. Psychosocial and environment problems that might affect the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, of mental disorders: unemployment, divorce, legal problems, poverty. Global assessment of functioning on a scale 1-100: 1 is like horrible, 100= superior, social, psychological and occupational, they want you to improve your number when you leave treatment. Psychological disorders have many causes diathesis- stress model: it looks at environment and genetics a disorder may develop when you have underlying predisposition to get that disorder.
