Identical (monozygotic) twins: an egg is split, clones, all alleles are identical, fraternal (dizygotic) twins, 2 eggs, half of alleles are the same, logic. If h^2 near 1, identical twins will have the same value for the trait, even if they"re raised apart. If h^2 near 0, identical twins raised apart are no more likely to have the same value for the trait than any 2 random people. Iq: heritability is 0. 50, this means intelligence is 50% due to genes and 50% due to environment, same with personality, gene environment interaction, assume that variation is adding together, ex. You need some s, but not too much. You need stress to motivate, but too much will be too much: the dominant phenotype (68% of us) is associated with slightly more anxiety.
