Heart attack risk goes down with more rooms in apartment. Mice fed high sugar/fat diet only became overweight if also stressed. Blocking npy in mice that are eating high sugar, high fat diets and receiving stress prevents obesity. Hierarchy contributes to distribution of fat in body. Stress increases cortisol (hormone secreted by adrenal gland). Cortisol receptors and neuronal loss are highest in hippocampus. Cognitive loss associated with neuronal loss in hippocampus.
