Poliical science aspires to be a kind of science the science of how states behave, how economies behave. By theory it is meant the ability for us to predict how states will behave, how economies will behave etc. There is a prevailing theory called democraic peace theory: draws along history of internaional poliics, it argues that there is a patern: democracies do not ight other democracies: In most cases democracies are allies with one another. Democracies tend to be relaively slow when it comes to making policies. Democracies take a long ime before they are ready to declare war. In that ime, democracies ind another way to solve their issue. However, poliical science is not very good at predicing. Poliical science did not predict the end of the cold war. A litle island of the coast of china. However it is the 14th biggest trading economy in the world.
