Average age is now comparison, average age for women with a high school diploma was just 24: those with master"s degree or higher first became mothers at 30. Mother is likely ot have fewer medical problems with pregnancy and childbirth. The parents may be less likely to build up expectations for their children, as do many couples who have waited many years to have children: advantages to having children later (in the thirties) Parents have had more itme to consider their goal isn life, such as what they want from family and career roles. Parents are more mature and are able to benefit from their experiences to engage in more competent parents.
