Fairytales have flat characters & usually plot moves through implicit and explicit where they are told not to do something but the character does. Type of transformation (physical -- beast turns into human) or transformation of character. The teller was always present and speaking to an audience and told to share experiences & enlighten. The teller was held in high esteem in the society.
