Document Summary

I related to this chapter because as a tutor, sometimes i can get angry or frustrated if i have to repeat myself constantly. I then have to put myself in their shoes and look at myself and think maybe i did something wrong and that i should have explained the problem better. Sometimes when i work with children that are younger and have learning disabilities, i can get very frustrated because i think they aren"t trying or paying attention. I then have to change my thought process to see how i can help them remember how to do the problems. It is important for me to stay composed because if i were to sound annoyed, the student would not want to ask any more questions and then would pretend they understand what is going on. Composure is the most important factor in creating a safe place for children.
