Q3: of values are above this value. Distributions can have the same range but different iq ranges. Probability distribution: function that assigns a probability of falling within a given range on the x axis. Percentile ranking: calculated from the normal distribution. Population: all of the people that we are trying to understand in a study. Population parameter: value taken from a population. Sample statistic: value taken from a sample.
