Conway (1999: what is the key to working together, conflict is always a negative experience. Solve by looking to yourself, making sure you express yourself clearly, make sure this conflict is necessary: facts, myths, unknowns, and values: occur when people break an issue down into different elements. Solve by looking at what resources everyone has and can bring to the table, like energy, time contacts. Solve by establishing ground rules on decision making and making sure the problem is not ignored. Different skills and viewpoints ultimately can strengthen the group: group members not taking ownership of the group process: all members do not help the group work well, or feel like they are not playing a part. Solve by reminding people of their role, purpose, responsibility, and importance: lack of clarity regarding decisions: some part of the goal or work is unclear and more time has to be spent clarifying.
