Infant develops trust with mother/primary caregiver: piaget primary task of infants is a sensorimotor one, different cries elicit different needs, smiles at caregivers, leery of strangers, crawls, walks and can feed themselves by a year of life. Toddler years: 12 months to 36 months of age, toddlers enjoy exploring while trying to master environment, toddlers do not stop constantly on the move.
