There"s always a leader for the group that everyone turns to. Some people in the group are better off on their own: focus groups: artificial groups organized by people in marketing, consisted of people who don"t know each other, led by a moderator. Everyone is encouraged to state their opinion. Information can be used for political reasons: families- enduring connections, most groups are together for a while, many groups are related to geography. Ethnic neighborhoods: little italy, china town: leisure scenes.
