Theory: set of ideas, understanding, or assumptions that explain and give meaning to a process, circumstance, or thing. Uses facts rather than emotions/data and rationality vs. emotion. Detachment between researcher and the researched to minimize being biased. Married; white; from us women"s rights movement. Studying the lives of women; studying social dynamics.
