Sweat was refused admission to u of texas law school solely because of race. Texas creates state law school for african americans sweatt refuses to register. Scotus unanimously rules law school for blacks was not equal to ut law school. Under some circumstances separate can never be equal. Group of homeowners in st louis missouri was an integrated neighborhood.
