Document Summary

Td 301 spatial usage and types of theatres- 1. 3. Moon: most powerful object: contrast, sticks out bc not blue. Green leaf: second most powerful: only leaf on the tree so sticks out, symbolizes hope. Everything on tree is dead except the one leaf. Taller person: wearing a taller, straight hat, slightly shadowed, standing straight, looks more powerful, seems to be leaning forward. Shorter person: light on his face, rounded hat, could be perceived as powerful because he has the light on him. Up to interpretation whether taller person or shorter person is powerful: not wearing shoes. Makes it look like this is his home/feels at home. If other guy stomps on his foot, it would hurt. Proscenium theatre: arch, stage is behind arch, audience is on other side of arch, wings, all action usually happens on stage, stage left: actors left, audience right, downstage: front of stage, upstage: back of stage, raking.
