Pay attention to what season, time of day, etc: environment/climate i. e. in the classroom: Cool, windy, winter in a play is it storming, are you in a village, in nyc, mars, etc: mood i. e. in the classroom: Somber (lighting, cold and imposing tall brick walls) Attentive (architecture coming inward- the walls draw attention to the stage, making that the main focal point) tired (everyone is unresponsive, quiet when asked questions by prof. , its friday, etc. ) The social scene at large: public/private. Technically anyone can come, but its just the class members. Are they paired together: patterns of behavior.
