Rent costumes that may have been used in other shows: building. Somebody builds something for you that doesn"t exist in a store: storefront vs. shop supported, the costume shop staff, manager, project manager, draper/tailor, stitcher, crafts. Making something look older than it is. Turning clothes into rags: tech and dress rehearsal, everything has to be in by tech week. Usually a week or two weeks before actual play. First time practicing actual changes: if they can"t get it off or on in enough time, try something else, first time seeing all elements together, solving problems with changes, spacing, etc. Seeing everything with lights for the first time: adjustments get made right up until the end, ex: in the red and brown water.
