How do we know if they are accurate: the logic of convergence: many different ratings by different people if everyone, including yourself, sees you as one way your probably that way. One might imagine that self- esteem is relatively low but this is not always true. Is self-esteem always a good thing to have: helps with many things intuitive social adjustment, etc, excessively high and rigid self-esteem can lead to arrogance, sensitivity to criticism, and narcissism, self-esteem and culture.
