There are two different approaches to using sources: source orientated: using one or several sources which can be linked to the topic of your own interest. The source itself determines what you write about in your article (nature of inquiry). The research its very much to the point. Sounds like common sense, correspondence to most people"s idea of research. Problem: other issues are ignored, also difficult to tell which sources are relevant. You"re also going to look at sources that are obvious, but maybe if you look at sources which are not that obvious you would have a better story. An author does not just uses one of these options, but for the final result a combination is used. To understand a source analytical skill is very important as the important information can be hard to find. Therefore the studying of primary sources should be done critical. Geographical area: people who doesn"t have any script are excluded.
