Cognitive: looks at mental processes such as memory, perception, problem solving, creativity, thinking, focus on human thought, process of knowing & thinking. Biological: looks at response to problem through biological basis of thoughts, emotions, behavior, focus on the functioning of genes, brain, nervous system, endocrine system. Neuro: looks at relation between physical systems & behavior, studies biochemical mechanisms in brain activated during response, the relation of brain structure to function, the chemical & physical changes that occur in body when we experience different emotions.
