R selected is multiple offspring at one time: arboreal(vs. terrestrial)-live in trees. Terrestrial is mammals that make their living on the ground: diurnal(vs. nocturnal)-active during the day. Nocturnal is active at night: flexible, learned behavior- flexible:adapt to many different environments.
