We do this when talking about religion, as if it were human and could do human things. Buddhism teaches peace when people really mean that"s how these people behave. It leads to: generalization theological conclusions- normative claims of how things should be rather than how they are. Different perspectives will tell us different things, not saying that one is more wrong while one is more right, but that we will learn different things from different perspectives. Each perspective portrays something, but its different things.
