The exam is worth 250 points, divided in four sections: films, people, things, and a short answer section. In other words, same format as the midterm. In the first 3 sections, you are provided with a definition or description, and answer by matching-- choosing from an answer bank, just like you have on the quizzes and midterm. Please note that this is only a list probably not exhaustive--of materials we have covered since the midterm, provided to help you guide your own study. I recommend thinking about the stories of which the things, people, and films are elements. History is 5/7 story, and it"s much more in our natures to remember stories than simply to memorize lists. An optional exam review session is scheduled for monday may 4, 12-1 pm. One strategy may be to divide up the list and come up with descriptions of each of the items, then meet to discuss them.
