Babbling: occurs between 6-8 mo. and the child is producing a number of cv combinations, ba-ba-ba, ga-ga-ga, da-da-da, in the later babbling stage, around 9-10 mo. , there are recognizable intonation patterns, also some variation begins to occur, ba-ba-da-da. The one-word stage: occurs between 12-18 months.
