Isoline map divide the area into regions based on values of some data quantitative: features, scale a tool or rule that allows us to convert measurements of the map into real world equivalence, graphic scale line or bar broken into different steps. If the size of the map changes, the ratio stays the same: representative fraction can be written as a true fraction, or ration form, or verbally.
