Can be in more than one system. Observing the body for any changes in the body visual. Touching the surface of the body with your hands: palpation, auscultation. Introduction to organ systems: there are 11 organ systems in the human body, each system contains organs that work together to perform specific functions, all organ systems make up the organism. *nervous and endocrine systems make you who you are homeostasis (internal stability)
