It is not a matter of just finding the corresponding words in the other language, since sometimes there are no equivalents, but also trying to convey the sense and meaning: sociolinguistics basically, how people use language, language according to saussure, is divided into langue and parloe; langue is the systematic aspect of language, but it exists only in individual speaking acts, parole, language is a symbolic system.
