Study comparing the abilities of children that were raised in prison with their mothers and children raised in an orphanage with 6 nurses raising them. Children in orphanage had way less contact. Depriving infants from social activity and social stimuli made them less demanding. By the age of 3, kids in nursing home talked and walked normally. Only 8% of kids in orphanage talked.
