To put together or assemble. A jump from one foot to two feet. The working leg opens to
45 degrees off the floor, the supporting leg pushes off the floor, and the feet land
together in 5th position.
Glissade
To glide. Starting from 5th position, one leg opens to the side while the other is in
demi-plié. The weight is then transferred to the opened leg and the second leg opens to
the side. The movement ends in 5th position demi-plié
Pas de Chat/Step of the cat.
From 5th position, the back leg is raised to passé, the other leg pushes off the floor and
moves to passé so both feet are in the air. The first foot lands and then the second foot
closes to 5th position.
Soutenu en tournant:
Sustained while turning. Performed as a two footed turn. Both legs are close together in
relevé with one foot in front of other.
