Considered most private: home, locked/fenced land, private storage spaces. Dayak longhouse: not so much about privacy but about the respect of neighbors. Shifting public/private distinctions: public behavior online, generational gap bc younger people sharing more of their private lives than the older generation. The online world is a place where the line of privacy is expanding in different ways. --all of the examples given, give an example of different spaces, how they are used and how we feel about them.
