He stood for a moment, taking in this serene tableau of his sleeping boss, and then violently yanked the chair out from underneath him. Richard hit the ground with a thud, and woke suddenly, scrabbling for the firearm he no longer had. Richard sighed, handed friday his drink, re-holstered his gun, and went off the to fix himself in the bathroom mirror as friday strode into the kitchen.
