Hope was in the jar pandora opened along with the rest of evils and suffering. Most people over 5 realize life is bad. Greeks were pessimest but its based on reality that everyone dies. Hope is the greatest evil of them all- hope makes you think you wont suffer the other evils . If the story is told all around the world than its easy to believe that it actually happened. Primitive people don"t make stuff up out of nothing. Zeus went in person as human to examine humans. Zeus went back to olympus and said he decided to ood the earth. Their reaction was disturbed and they said to zeus if you destroy all humans their would be no one to worship us. Zeus realized they were right so he went to earth to see if their was any one worth saving.
