Americans screw around with boundaries of old ottoman empire. Creation of league of nations which is an international body to keep the peace. Wilson has a very divided and hostile congress. He believes he can force the senate to do what he wants, but on his tour around the nation he catches a stroke. American policies in 1920s: senate fails to ratify-wilson attacks republicans who eventually get elected, new directions- even though united states do not join the league, they help. We are still economically involved in the world.
