This ultimately set up for a bureaucratic business, which separated the power of one person to many: the invention of the assembly line allowed mass production to occur more accurately and more efficiently. This allowed for goods to be produced quicker so that consumers could purchase them faster. This also allowed for interchangeable parts because each product was made individually; therefore, whenever something broke, it was easier to change parts.
