Isds 2001 statistical methods and business analytics ii. Office hours are mw 12:45-2:00 p. m. or by appointment. Instructor of information systems and decision sciences (isds) Isds office: 2230 bec, phone: 225-578-2501 (no voice mail) The course provides students with working knowledge of the concepts, techniques, and tools to provide effective business intelligence. Course topics include data warehousing; business analytics and data visualization through score cards and dashboards; data, text, and web mining; and business performance management. Emphasis will be placed on emerging efforts to use business intelligence applications in finance, accounting, human resources, sales forecasting and marketing, customer relationship management, product sales, operation and supply-chain management, and web site analysis. Isds 2001 section 1 no meeting times for any lectures. Isds 2001 section 2 9:30-10:20 am on mw in 102 allen; no class on fridays. Isds 2001 section 3 10:30-11:20 am on mw in 103 design; no class on fridays.
