It provides a body of knowledge that should allow the student to improve and maintain optimal wellness. Additionally, this is a general education course in social sciences. Material in the course addresses students" achievement of the following general education competency: lsu graduates will demonstrate an understanding of the factors of global interdependence, including economic forces, political dynamics, plus cultural and linguistic difference. General course objectives: upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: Describe dimensions of wellness and analyze their interactions related to personal goals. Interpret information regarding wellness according to one"s personal history. Demonstrate knowledge of basic wellness ideas and locate reliable sources of content. Identify agencies and organizations that provide wellness information nationally, locally, and on campus.
