I put together this document to answer some of the questions you may have about the course and to provide you with an overview of the material that we will cover along with deadlines for reading and writing assignments. That is the central question posed in this course. By discussing diverse theories of and approaches to the study of religion, we will challenge ourselves to rethink what makes something religious.
