I could imagine what its like to be an lsu student (-professor) I don"t know your particular life story, but since you are part of a group (lsu undergrads) there are certain general aspects about you i do know. Looking out for general patterns in social life. There will always be exceptions, doesn"t mean the patterns are not important. How has society affected you w/o you knowing it. What things are out of our control: what name your parents gave you, other examples: clothes, languages, schooling, wright mills, author of the sociological imagination . Turn private problems into public issues instead of focusing on individuals, think about how many people are going through the same thing you can turn it into a social issue: ex.
