Socialization - the process of learning how to interact in society by learning the rules and expectations of society. Argue that there are elements in our bodies: our bodies respond to the human environment. They affect each other - our bodies and the environment. Feral/isolated children (oxana malaya and others), early socialization, and critical period. Two sisters rescued by wolves; one died and the other later had trouble standing uo - couldn"t stand up straight but could stand. Early socialization is critical - oxana was able to talk because of when she started living with the dogs.
