In contradiction to this disaster, the rinascimento"s urban life & civilt flourished triumphant, & confident: their virt remained. A defense of rats & fleas: visions of the plague. Asia & europe: with the right level of trade & rats travelling on ships from asia (where the plague was endemic), they brought the disease to the port cities of europe. In europe, the rat population was dense enough to pass on the bacteria, which then flourished in. Europe, & fleas infected humans, & the plague spread: problems with the vision, there are problems with this scenario. Its possible it isn"t all to blame on rats & fleas & the world economy though.
