Document Summary

Sample-group of participants from which data is collected from. Used to select a sample from a population. This method includes subjects randomly selected so the researcher knows the probability of selecting a member from each group in the population. Always must be random sampling: with using a sample of a population there is a margin for error, margin for error- indicated a likely error in determining the result for the entire population from the sample selected. Every member of the population has an equal and independent chance of being selected to be in the sample. Every nth member of the population is selected. A modi cation of simple random and systematic sampling: where the population is divided into homogenous groups rst and them subjects are selected from the smaller subgroups. The random selection the naturally occurs in the groups and them individuals from the groups are chosen for the study.
