Explanatory- ndings from quantitative methods are followed by qualitative methods to provide explanations for the ndings. Exploratory- qualitative methods are used to generate information that is utilized in conducting the quantitative phase of the study. Convergent- quantitative and qualitative data are collected at about the same time to allow triangulation of the ndings.
