Liberal theory we cover today claims that international organizations can generally help countries cooperate. Theories generate predictions about the world, which we can test using empirical evidence. We can test liberal theory claim from previous slide by looking at whether there is in fact greater cooperation between countries that are members of the same international organization! This means that the various claims made by a theory shouldn"t contradict.
