Focus on technique and content: summarise and, respond with reactions based on your sythesis, read actively and thoughtfullly, what are the main points, how is the work organised, evidence, purpose of the work, analyse. What did he/she/they want to communicate to me: always take a minute to really look at the work and make some free associations with it in your own imagination.
