Administrative concerned with executive actions of government. Cases/common law judge made and follows doctrine of precedent. Legislation statutes and delegated legislation - federal, state and local. Courts role to interpret acts of parliament and determine meaning across different cases. Can extend or reduce application of law or apply definition or meaning to an act. Property rights are the legal rights entitling people to make use of their property and property law refers to the law surrounding property, determining whether the rights attach. Possession is a property right that defines that others cannot interfere with your possessions (trespass, conversion or detinue), providing evidence of ownership.
