However, women experience greater morbidity ad are over- represented in health statistics. Women are less likely to be physically active than men - 69% of australian women report doing very little physical activity vs 61% of men indicated so (abs, 1017) Women are more likely to report higher level of psychological distress than men (abs, 2017)
