Lateral gray horn = autonomic motor nuclei, only in thoracic, upper lumbar and sacral regions. White matter anterior, posterior and lateral white columns = contain sensory ascending and motor descending tracts: functions of the spinal cord: White matter tracts = sensory and motor nerve impulse circulation.
