When you read the lit, one size doesnt fit all. Might not be the case universally in this animal species ovarian steroirds are not important. Mechanical stretch increases expression of otrs in human cells. We do not know whether it was the placenta or the mechanical stretch. Mechanical stretch decreases relaxin receptor concetrations in the rat myometrium.
