The final exam will contain all the material covered in lectures, tutorials, and the prescribed readings, and is of two hours duration plus ten minutes for reading. There is a hurdle requirement in this unit. There is a requirement that the student must attain a mark of at least 50% in the final summative assessment task. The final exam paper will consist of six (6) compulsory questions and two (2) pages of formulae. Covers lecture materials from week 1 to week 12. Each question will focus on one topic from lectures 5 12 but you cannot expect to do well on the final exam if you do not understand earlier lectures.
