The body is organised into six different levels: changes (or problems) at one level can affect other levels. Cellular = reactions occur (smallest living unit) Smooth muscle cell - allows movement eg. stomach contract. In humans, there are four basic types of tissue: epithelial (blood vessel - reduces friction), connective, muscular, and nervous tissue (collection) List the levels of human structure and briefly describe the organ systems of the body. The organ systems work together to maintain life by performing the necessary life functions. Define homeostasis and describe the major components of homeostatic control mechanisms.
